No anonymous sign-ups and no bots — which is what makes talking to a stranger here reasonable in the first place.

What is Afterglow?
A dating app built around a blind five-minute conversation. You're matched with someone without seeing their photo or profile, you talk, and when the timer ends both profiles reveal at the same time.
Why blind dating instead of swiping?
Swiping asks you to judge a face in under a second. A blind chat asks whether you actually want to keep talking to the person — which is the thing you were trying to find out anyway.
When does Afterglow launch?
We're rolling out in stages and inviting people off the waitlist in order. Join the list and we'll text you when it's your turn — we don't have a public launch date to promise yet.
How does the waitlist work?
You join with your name and number and get a position in line. Every friend who signs up through your referral link moves you up 5 places, and you can check your position any time by signing in with the same number.
Does it cost anything to join the waitlist?
No. Joining the waitlist is free, and it doesn't commit you to anything.
What will you do with my phone number?
Use it to tell you when your invite is ready, and nothing else. No spam, and we don't sell it.
